Mark your calendars for METROCON10 Expo & Conference, which will be held at Dallas Market Hall in Dallas, Texas, on Thursday, August 12 and Friday, August 13, 2010 at Dallas Market Hall [2200 Stemmons Freeway, Dallas] and will benefit the A&D community from all over Texas and Oklahoma, as well as New Mexico, Louisiana and Arkansas. 

What will you find at METROCON10? For one, a diverse array of 200+ Exhibitors in 350 10'x10' booths, containing the latest and greatest in cutting-edge products and services related to the corporate, residential, hospitality, healthcare, institutional, and education design fields.  

Along with the outstanding tradeshow, METROCON10 offers attendees continuing education classes on topics ranging from sustainability and energy efficiency to communicating with clients and making the most out of your design career. Any ASID member attendee gets on the tradeshow floor for free and may take any amount of continuing education for a flat fee of an extremely low $50. Tradeshow admission is free to all students enrolled in an interior design program. Online attendee registration runs from June 1 - July 30, 2010, and on-site registration is also available for $10 more than online registration fees.

The 2010 Committee is pleased to offer 4,500 seats in 50 classes, a show schedule that will allow an attendee up to 10 continuing education hours over two days while still providing 7.5 hours on the tradeshow floor to engage with vendors and to network with peers.

Online Exhibitor Registration/Booth Purchase opened April 1, 2010, for ASID Industry Partners and closed June 25, 2010. ASID IPs were able to secure booths starting at only $4.50/sf. NOTE: Those Exhibitors who were interested in picking the exact location of their booth(s) became  METROCON10 Sponsors. GET INVOLVED

A team of tremendous volunteers from the Texas Chapter of ASID and the Texas / Oklahoma Chapter of IIDA will execute METROCON10. For eight years, the professional organizations have organized the conference as a service to their members. Income from the event goes back to the chapters to fund special educational and recognition programs, as well as scholarships and charities earmarked by the individual organizations.
